The TORNEX Series includes two types of air flow control technology, namely “Artificial tornado forming technology” and “Negative pressure control system technology,” and the dust collecting and deodorizing power of the 3-Stage Filtration System is also a major feature of the series.

PRE-FILTER
A fine metal mesh removes visible dust etc.
MAIN FILTER (Electrostatic Precipitator)
Electrically charges the smoke and other particles and catches them with a polarised board. 2 stage electrically charged Electrostatic Precipitator can cope with a high concentration of smoke etc, and its effectiveness is 94% or more (DOP 0.3 um).
ODOUR FILTER
Acetaldehyde and ammonia etc in the cigarette smoke is removed.
MOTOR FAN
By using a blower, the air in the room is forced to go through the filter. A 5m(W) X 5m(D) X 2.5m(H) room takes 4 minutes with the 15m3/min type and 2 minutes with the 30m3/min type for all the air to be cleaned.

Main filter system (Electrostatic Precipitator)
The main filter (Electrostatic Precipitator) is made up of an internal ionizer and collector. The ionizer gives the particles in cigarette smoke (dust and ash particles) an electric charge and then they are sucked up and collected by the collector.

メンテナンスの手順
TORNEX systems require regular maintenance to ensure that they effectively collect all the cigarette smoke. Maintenance is carried out through the following four procedures.
1.REPLACEMENT OF MAIN FILTER, ODOUR FILTER AND PRE-FILTER
Remove dirty Main Filter (ESP), Odour Filter and Pre-filter and exchange with clean filters.
2.CLEANING OF INTERIOR
The equipment is comprehensively cleaned inside to avoid problems occur.
3.OPERATION CHECK
All parts are checked for correct operation
4.CLEANING OF EXTERIOR AND TEST OPERATION
The surrounding area is cleaned, and correct air flows are verified.
